Scope
This notice applies to the public website at marsfamilydental.com. It is separate from the practice's HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which explains how the dental practice may use and disclose protected health information.
No patient forms on this site
This website does not provide a general contact form, appointment form, chat widget, or health-history form. Do not send medical, dental, insurance, billing, or appointment information through ordinary email. Patient-facing links lead to services configured for the practice in Open Dental.
Technical information
Like most web hosting services, Cloudflare may process basic request information needed to deliver, monitor, and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser details, requested page, timestamp, and security signals. Cloudflare Workers logs and traces are enabled for operational monitoring, with request query strings removed from logged URLs. The website code does not currently set advertising cookies, embed social-media pixels, run session-replay software, or load third-party analytics.
External services
Links to Open Dental, mapping services, or social profiles take you to another service with its own privacy and security practices. Check the destination address before providing information. The public site does not receive a copy of information entered directly into Open Dental.
Content administration
Public website content and media are maintained in GitHub through Pages CMS. Administrators are instructed not to place patient information, appointment details, testimonials tied to identifiable patients, clinical photographs, or other protected information in the content repository.
